Leaders Chelsea are involved in today's three o'clock games.

The Blues host west London rivals QPR at Stamford Bridge.

RUGBY

Leinster are expected to deliver an update on the fitness of new signing Ben Te'o (pr: Tee-oh) later this afternoon.

The centre suffered a suspected broken forearm during night's five-try win over Edinburgh at the RDS and could be facing a lengthy spell on the sidelines.

Also last night, Connacht missed-out on a chance to return to the play-off places after a 15-point defeat to league leaders, the Ospreys.

Meanwhile, Munster and Ulster are both in Pro 12 action this evening.

Anthony Foley has made 11 changes to his Munster side for their trip to the Arms Park to take-on the Cardiff Blues in a 5:15 kick-off.

Michael Cheika begins life as Australia head coach this afternoon, with the Wallabies facing the Barbarians at Twickenham.

GOLF

Graeme McDowell's round 68 saw him end day three of the BMW Masters in Shanghai in a tie for seventh on 12 under par. 

Shane Lowry is 9 under, Michael Hoey 6 under, and Paul McGinley is 1 under par. 

Alexander Levy continues to lead on 22 under par, he's 4 clear of Jamie Donaldson. 

 

FORMULA ONE 

Lewis Hamilton has the edge on Mercedes team mate Nico Rosberg going into this evening's qualifying session for the United States F1 Grand Prix.

The World Championship leader was quickest in both free practice sessions.

Meanwhile, Lotus have dismissed reports they could boycott this weekend's Grand Prix along with Sauber and Force India. 

A number of F-1's smaller teams are believed to be upset with the distribution of revenue in the sport. 

Recently, both Marussia and Caterham were forced into administration and are absent from the grid in Austin this weekend.
