‘Pressure Off’ For Feakle Ahead Of Munster Campaign

The manager of the Feakle side preparing for Munster championship action this weekend says their county final win has taken a lot pressure off the club.

The East Clare side overcame Parteen to claim the intermediate championship, and with it a place in the senior ranks for 2015.

They now face Waterford champions Cappoquin in Sunday's Munster semi-final in Sixmilebridge, and former Clare senior captain Tommy Guilfoyle says their win over Parteen came as a great relief.

Staying with hurling, two Care schools are in Harty Cup action this afternoon

St Flannan’s College take on West Limerick Colleges in Sixmilebridge while St Caimin’s of Shannon face Our Lady’s Templemore in Nenagh.

In the B competition, Rice College of Ennis take on Kanturk's Colaiste Treasa in Claughaun in Co. Limerick.
