Roy Keane has resigned as assistant manager at Aston Villa after less than 6 months at the club.
In a statement, Keane says combining assistant roles with the Republic of Ireland and Villa had become too much for him.

The Corkman says his situation wasn't fair to either Villa or Ireland, so he has decided to step away from the Midlands club.
Darren Bent left Villa for Brighton on loan this week, and he's surprised that Keane has followed him out of the exit door at Villa Park.
