7 tier structure for club payments towards Cusack Park refurbishment

Details have been annnounced of what various clubs will pay toward the cost of refurbishing Cusack Park.

The Clare Champion reports today there will be a structure of seven tiers implemented, with clubs asked to pay in accoradance with various criteria.

These include the population of the clubs area, the amount of teams operating within the club and the clubs infrastructure.

Tier 1 clubs,who have been identified as Sixmilebridge, Eire Óg, St Josephs Doora Barefield and Wolfe Tones, will be asked to pay an annual fee of €1,500, with Tier 7 clubs contributing €700 annually.

The money will go toward servicing the annual loan of €60,000 required for the €2.3 million project, with clubs expected to debate the structuring of the loan repayments at next Tuesdays meeting of Clare GAA.
