Collins Confident Clare Are Ready For Division 3

Clare boss Colm Collins says his side won't have any inferiority complex when they embark on their first Division Three campaign since 2007.

It gets underway in Miltown Malbay on Sunday, when Wexford provide the opposition for the home side.

For most of his players, this weekend marks a first outing in Division 3, following last year’s promotion, but Collins says his side won't fear the prospect of stepping up a level.

Meanwhile, Kilrush Community College face Carrick on Suir CBS this afternoon in the Munster Under 18-and-a-half D Final.

That game has been switched to Boher and throws in at 1 o'clock.

The schools GAA action continues tomorrow when St. Flannan's of Ennis take on Cork's Coachford in Cloughduv, in the Munster Colleges Camogie Final.

On Sunday, Clare's ladies footballers travel to Kingspan Breffni Park for their League opener against Cavan.  That throws in at 2 o'clock.
