St Flannans look to defend Munster Colleges Camogie title

St Flannans will defend their Munster Senior A title this afternoon in Cloughduv, with Corks Coachford College providing the opposition.

Flannans had a comprehensive win in last years Final over Limericks Laurel Hill and still have some of that panel available to them.

Aoife Keane who made her debut at Senior County level in 2014 will no doubt be a key player on the day, with Amy O’Brien, Chloe Devitt, Louise Browne, Sinead Quinn, Carol Browne, Aleisha Malone all likely to feature.

St Flannans will also be able to call on 2014 Clare Minors Claire Taaffe and Zoe McInerney, while Kilmaleys Lauren McGuane, Inagh Kilnamonas Laoise Ryan have the experience of big match days also.

St Flannans defeated Our Lady’s Templemore in the semi final by a margin of 3 points, winning 3-8 to 2-8, while in the other semi final, Coachford got the better of St. Mary’s Charleville on a scoreline of 3-5 to 1-7.
