Munster’s Keatley to make first Six Nations start

It's an all Munster half back pairing for Ireland's Six Nations opener against Italy in Rome.

Ian Keatley makes his first start in the tournament after being handed the number 10 shirt for Saturdays clash, with Conor Murray at 9.

Simon Zebo and Tommy Bowe man the wings with Rob Kearney at full back, while the center pairing sees Robbie Henshaw at 12 and Jared Payne at 13.

Paul O'Connell once more captains the side, but Jamie Heaslip hasn't made the starting 15. His place goes to Leinster colleague Jordi Murphy, with Devin Toner at 5.

Sean O'Brien makes his long awaited return from injury to take his place in the pack along with Munster's Peter O'Mahony, while Mike Ross, Rory Best and Jack McGrath complete the forwards.

Ian Madigan and Felix Jones are among the replacements.
