A former manager of the Clare Senior Footballers says Sunday's clash with Sligo is crucial if the team are to push for promotion this year.
The Connacht outfit travel to Cusack Park for both counties' third outing in this year's competition – Sligo are winless to date, while Clare will look for a second victory, and to bounce back from their defeat in Louth last time out.
