Clare boss Colm Collins says their Allianz League Division Three loss to Tipperary was the Banners worst performance to date in the campaign.
A late goal from Philip Austin sealed a 2-11 to 1-8 win for the Premier, and left Clare's promotion hopes hanging by a thread.
The Banner trailed by 0-8 to 0-4 at half time, and despite a goal from subsitute Shane Brennan, Collins side failed to close the gap on their opponents.
