Keane: Disappointing to be in relegation battle

Clare selector Ger Keane says it's disappointing the Banner find themselves fighting against relegation from Division Three this afternoon.

Wins over Wexford and Sligo were tempered by defeats against Louth, Armagh, Tipperary and Limerick, with Colm Collins side now needed to overturn Fermanagh to ensure they survive.

A loss will mean Clare will be reliant on other results going their way, but Keane says they won't go down without a fight

Throw in this afternoon is at 3pm, full live commentary here on Clare FM in association with Westlink Cars Tuam Road Galway

Meanwhile the Clare team for this afternoons clash won't be named until close to throw in as boss Colm Collins awaits news on the fitness of the likes of Cathal McInerney and Ciaran Russell who both missed last weeks clash with Limerick due to injury.

Elsewhere in Division Three, Wexford need a massive win away to Tipperary if they're to have any hope of surviving.

The losers of the Louth – Limerick game would see them in big trouble, while an already promoted Armagh to to Sligo.

If Clare fail to to beat Fermanagh, they must hope that Sligo don't cause an upset by beating Armagh, and that there isn't a draw in Drogheda.

All those games start at 3pm
