Saturday may have been the day of drawn games in Cusack Park, but that was not the case this afternoon.

The park saw the meeting of Crusheen and Sixmilebridge do battle in the second Clare Senior Hurling Championship semi-final.

2013 champions Sixmilebridge dominated the first half and went into the break with a 10 point lead on a score of 2-12 to Crusheen's 1-05.

However, Crusheen came back strongly in a thrilling second half and reduced Sixmilebridge's gap for a short while.  The Bridge came back and defeated Crusheen by 8 points and puts them into the Clare Senior Hurling Final.  Final score from Cusack Park – Sixmilebridge 3-21 and Crusheen 3-13.

Meanwhile, Clonlara and Kilmaley will have to do it all over again after the first Semi-Final ended in a draw at Cusack Park yesterday evening.

The sides couldn't be separated at the final whistle and it finished Clonlara 3-11 and Kilmaley 20 points.

A meeting of the Clare GAA Fixtures Committee on Monday evening will decide when and where the replay will be played.
