Cathal O’Connor restored to Clare starting 15 for Westmeath clash

Cathal O'Connor has been passed fit to take his place on the Clare side for tomorrows clash with Westmeath.

The Coolmeen man missed out on last weekends win over Limerick, and will resume his partnership with Gary Brennan in the middle of the park.

It means Pierce Lillis moves into the half forward line with Pat Burke dropping to the bench in the only change from the last day out.

The team in full is Joe Hayes in goal with a full back line of Seanie Malone, Kevin Harnett and Martin McMahon.

The half back line is Jamie Malone, Gordon Kelly and Cian O'Dea.

Cathal O'Connor and Gary Brennan are reunited at midfield with Brennan once more captaining the side.

Sean Collins, Pierce Lillis and Shane McGrath are the half forward line, with an inside line of Eoin Cleary, Enda Coughlan and David Tubridy
