McInerney and O’Donnell latest to join Clare Senior Hurling treatment table

Clare boss Davy Fitzgerald has been dealt another injury blow ahead of next weekend's league quarter final against Tipperary.

2013 All Ireland winners Shane O'Donnell and David McInerney have both been ruled out for up to a month, meaning they will miss the rest of Clare's league campaign.

McInerney is sidelined with a back problem, with management deciding to use the time between now and the championship opener on June 5th to address the issue.

O'Donnell picked up a foot injury during last weekend's promotion showdown win over Limerick in Cusack Park.

The duo join Tony Kelly, Jack Browne, Seadna Morey, Shane Golden and Pat Donnellan on the treatment table.
