Kelly injury blow for Clare footballers ahead of league showdown with Kildare

Clare football boss Colm Collins has been forced into making one change to his side for tomorrows meeting with Kildare in the Allianz National Football League.

Miltown's Gordon Kelly has been sidelined with a hamstring injury, so his place at centre back goes to Dean Ryan.

The team in full is Joe Hayes in goal, with Martin McMahon, Kevin Harnett and Seanie Malone in the full back line.

Ryan is at centre back with Jamie Malone and Cian O'Dea either side of him.

Captain Gary Brennan and Cathal O'Connor continue in midfield.

David Tubridy has been named at centre forward, with Sean Collins and Pierce Lillis on the wings.

Keelanb Sexton starts at full forward, with Eoin Cleary and Pat Burke in the corners.

If the Banner avoid defeat tomorrow they will be promoted along with Kildare, and the two sides will meet again in the Division Three Final in Croke Park at the end of the month.
