Busy Weekend Of Clare Club Action

It was a busy weekend on the local club front.

Matches were down for decision across the divisions in both codes.

In footballs Cusack Cup, Kilmurry Ibrickane kept up their push for a sixth straight title with victory over Eire Óg, Clondegad got the better of county champions Miltown, Doonbeg overcame Lissycasey while Cratloe and Ennistymon shared the points.

In the Garry Cup there were wins for Cooraclare, Wolfe Tones, and Kilmihil.

Champions Sixmilebridge arent in action in the Clare Cup until tomorrow night when they face Clonlara, so Kilmaley took the chance to go top after beating Inagh/Kilnamona.

Cratloe beat Newmarket to move into third, while Feakle beat winless Whitegate.

In Division 1B, there were wins for Clooney/Quin, Tulla, and Sixmilebridge's second side.

Another round of fixtures are pencilled in for next weekend in both codes
