The Under-20 team overcame New Zealand 33-24 in their second match of the World Championship.

Munsterman Bill Johnston with the conversions and two penalties.
Johnny McPhillips also kicked a conversion and two penalties.
Ireland suffered a blow losing Johnston to a shoulder injury just before the break.
