Double All Ireland winning Clare manager Ger Loughnane has been inducted into the Gaelic Writers’ Association Hall of Fame.
The Feakle man led the Banner to the Liam McCarthy in 1995 and 1997 along with three Munster titles.

He also played a huge role on the field in Clare winning back to back League titles in 1977 & 1978, while he also won two All Star awards in that decade.
8 time All Ireland winner with Kerry Pat Spillane was also given the honour.
