No Patients On Trolleys At UHL

There are ZERO patients on trolleys in the Emergency Department at University Hospital Limerick today.

The region's main hospital has been the focus of much attention in recent years, with local representatives and a large numbre of patients among those who have complained of persistent overcrowding.

Today, however, daily figures show there are no patients on trolleys in the hospital's emergency department, while two are being accomodated in overflow areas of wards.

In all, there are over 300 patients on trolleys throughout the country today.
