Clare County Council is set to make an announcement on the running of the county's dog pound over the coming days.
The ISCA has been running the facility but it's believed that Cork-based company ACS is in the running to take over the facility but Clare County Counicl insists no decision has yet been made.

Frankie Coote has been employed as the county's dog warden for the past fifteen years and he's been warned of the possibility that he may lose his job once the service changes hands.
Frankie says workers at the county dog pound have been left in Limbo.
