Further calls have been made for the government to invest in social housing in Co. Clare.
That's despite the release of details of a 2.4 million euro announcement which will see two-dozen housing units developed here.

Focus Ireland and Clare Haven are to provide housing to young adults and to women who are victims of alleged domestic violence, so as to ensure they don't become homeless, while the Kilkee Housing Association is to construct housing for 12 elderly and disabled people in Doonbeg.
Secretary Marina Keane says more housing units are needed in West Clare.
