The Banking Inquiry has written to the DPP asking it to outline its specific concerns about plans to publish a witness statement from David Drumm.
The letter follows overnight contact by the DPP's legal team, raising concerns about plans to publish written evidence from the former CEO of Anglo Irish Bank.

The inquiry had planned to publish Mr Drumm's written evidence – which is thought to conflict with that of Brian Cowen – this evening.
But the inquiry has asked the DPP to indicate exactly what legal implications this may have, before it makes a final decision.
