The East-Clare community of Parteen is pleading with Clare County Council to regulate access rights to the county's graveyeards, to ensure the bereaved are not prevented from visiting the graves of loved ones.
Draft burial bye-laws are due to come before a meeting of the local authoritty next Monday after being deferred last month.

Kilquane Graveyard Comittee has made a submission after land accessing the parish graveyeard changed ownership in 2013, resulting in what its described as "extreme" restrictions being placed on access to the grounds.
