Fine Gael officials look set to choose between the party's two Clare Senators if they're to add a third candidate to the party ticket here.
TDs Pat Breen and Joe Carey were selected by local members on Friday night, beating Ennis Councillor Mary Howard in a vote.

A third name could now be added, and Councillor Howard has said she doesn't anticipate being added to the Fine Gael line-up.
However, Ennistymon Senator Martin Conway says he still wants to run, while his Shannon colleague Tony Mulcahy believes he is the correct choice.
