A peaceful protest is taking place outside Clare County Council's offices this lunchtime over the expected change to the running of the county dog pound.
Cork-based company ACS, is believed to be in the running to take over the county dog pound which has been run by the ISPCA, with Frankie Coote as the county's dog warden for the past 15 years.

A tendering process has been completed and while a decision was expected by the end of August, no annoucement has yet been made.
