Spike In The Number Of People Waiting For Treatment In UHL

A fresh spike has been recorded in the number of people waiting for treatment at University Hospital Limerick.

The number of patients on trolleys in the Emergency Department stands at 23 today, while a further 16 patients are being accomodated in other overflow areas of the hospital.

The INMO says the total number of 39 at UHL makes it the busiest hospital in the country today.

There are 17 patients on trolleys at University Hospital Galway, and 2 patients in overflow areas of Ennis Genera
