The Taoiseach's warned the next Government will have to accelerate the reform of the welfare system and not take the foot off the peddle.
In a speech to business leaders in Dublin last night, Enda Kenny outlined the key parts of a five year plan which he says will form the core of the Fine Gael election manifesto.

It promises more tax cuts, to cut unemployment to six percent and to never return to the boom and bust cycle of politics.
But he warned it also has to include even more reform of welfare to make work pay.
