Works which aim to alleviate overcrowding at University Hospital Limerick will be completed in November.
Officals hope that the hospital's new Leben building, which includes a new CF unit as well as other units, is slated to open on November 2nd.

Meanwhile, ongoing refurbishment works on an inpatient unit at the hospital are due to be completed on the 13th of that month.
The works will bring a net increase of 23 new beds to UHL, and Clare Fine Gael TD Pat Breen hopes they will help ease pressures until the new A&E unit is opened.
