Repairs are to be carried out on the Doonbeg-Kilrush sea wall.
The Council has issued a tender, seeking applicants to repair or replace existing sea wall defence structures at four separate locations on the West Clare coast.

These will replace existing walls which have weakened over time, or have been damaged during storms.
A total of 5.8 million euro was spent on storm repairs last year, while the Council says it envisages spending millions more this year.
