Dublin Coach Applies To NTA To Remove Restrictions On Green Bus

Dublin Coach has applied to the National Transport Authority to remove restrictions on its Ennis to Limerick service.

As part of its licence issued by the NTA restrictions are in place on carrying passengers from Ennis to Arthur's Quay and collecting from there during peak hours.

The service, known locally as the Green Bus, says the NTA recently brought it to their attention that passengers had used the service during the restricted hours, which would be a breach of licence conditions.

Kilrush Councillor Ian Lynch says students and commuters are having difficulty reaching their destination on time as a result of the restrictions – He's calling on the Transport Authority to review public services.
