Three billion euro worth of goods were exported by Clare companies this year.
The figures are contained in a report by the Irish Exporters Association which lists 11 pharmaceutical, industrial diamonds and manufacturing companies in the county in its top 250 investors in Ireland.

Benex Limited has been named the top exporter in Clare with over one million euro worth of exports.
The Head of Investec's Munster Office Kieran Fergusson, which compiled the report in association with IEA says the benefits will be felt across the county.
