Gardaí in Ennis have stepped up patrols in light of an incident of anti-social behaviour at an estate in the town.
Cars and homes were damaged during the incident on Saturday night, and Gardaí are following a definite line of enquiry as part of what they describe as an active investigation.

Local residents have met with political representatives, and the town's Mayor Councillor Pat Daly says people are living in fear.
In an interview to be broadcast on Clare FM's Morning Focus, Ennis Superintendent Brendan McDonagh has insisted they are treating the matter seriously.
