Organisers of Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann have begun detailed preparations ahead of the submission of application to the planning authority for a formal event licence.
It comes as local businesses will be briefed on management plans for the large-scale event tonight in the hopes of advancing preparations across all sections of the community.

Representatives from Clare County Council, Clare's Fire Service, Civil Defence, Gardaí and the HSE will engage with service providers at tonight's event which takes place at the Templegate Hotel from 6pm.
Director of Services with the local authority, Ger Dollard says tonight's event is an important step in the process for local businesses.
