Members of a splinter group of the IFA say they've now been vindicated for leaving the farming lobby group.
The Irish Natura and Hill Farmers association was formed in February – and is currently run on a voluntary basis with expenses covered by no salaries or pensions for the executive – as of yet.

The group left the IFA after voicing concerns about how it was representing farmers.
Following days of controversy at the IFA – the leadership of the new group – the Irish Natura and Hill Farmers association – says they've been proven correct.
But Chairman Vincent Roddy says farming may not have suffered as badly as is feared.
