An Ennis man is going where no one has ever gone before.
Brian MacCoitir is among a group of Irish cavers who will lead an expedition into the deep jungle of Papua New Guiney to explore an underground region never seen by man.

With a party of 15, he'll depart for Brisbane, Australia from where he'll travel onto Port Moresby, New Guiney by plane as there's no road connections.
Brian will be giving a talk at the Kemmy Business School in Ul from 8pm this evening on what's involved in the expedition which he says will be a once in a lifetime experience.
