Works to repair storm damage at a number of areas along the Clare coastline will get underway this week.
It's part of ongoing efforts by the local authority to repair damage caused by the severe storms of 2013 and 2014, with works expected to be completed ahead of the tourist season.

Work is scheduled to get underway at Cappagh and Carradotia this week while further storm repair works will begin at Whitestrand and Rhynagonnaught in early January.
Senior Engineer with Clare County Council, Tom Tiernan is expecting the repairs to be completed by April next, weather permitting.
