One person was taken to hospital following a road crash in West Clare this afternoon.
Two cars collided on the Kilrush Road at Knockalough, near Kilmihil at around half-past three.

The injured person was taken to hospital where they are being treated for minor injuries.
The road was closed for a time and diversions were in place.
