€9,000 in cash has been seized by Revenue Officers at Shannon Airport.
A female Polish national, aged in her twenties, was stopped prior to boarding a flight to Wroclaw in Poland at the Midwest Airport yesterday.

It's the second cash seizure there this week and the seventh in total for 2015.
Officers seized the cash in accordance with proceeds of crime legislation and were granted a three month detention order today by Judge Patrick Durcan at Kilrush District Court to facilitate further investigations.
