Clare people are being urged to shake a leg and give a Christmas gift to those in war torn countries this Christmas Day.
The Goal Mile, which is taking place at the Fairgreen in Ennis from 11am tomorrow is one of 130 events taking place across the length and breadth of the country.

Now in its 34th year, the event hopes to help highlight the plight of people displaced from Syria, South Sudan and other conflict regions.
Goal runs projects in 19 different countries and David Williams says support back home is hugely important to both the organisation’s staff and the people they’re working with.
