Clare County Council says the cost of repairs to flood damage roads in the county will be in the region of 3 million euro.
It follows a 106 million euro announcement in Government funding for the repair of roads and bridges affected by flood damage in recent weeks.

The funding comes on top of a 13 million euro allocation for the county earlier this week for general road improvements and maintence works, including the provision of an additional roundabout on the Tulla Road.
Clare Fine Gael TD Joe Carey is welcoming the announcement.
