A Shannon woman is part of a group of abuse survivors who are coming together this weekend to encourage other victims to come forward.
In 2011, Shaneda Daly's father Harry, formerly of Lanna, Lissycasey was sentenced to 15 years with 5 suspended after pleading to guilty to 227 charges relating to the abuse of his daughter.

Now, Shaneda and other survivors are comnig together to make people aware of the supports available for victims of sexual abuse.
She's also calling for new laws whereby the partners of abusers are prosecuted if they were aware of it and failed to act.
