Met Eireann has issued a weather warning for Clare and surrounding areas ahead of expected high winds later.
The mid level orange alert is warning of wind speeds of up to 80 kilometres per hour with gusts expected to reach up to 130 kilometres per hour.

The warning comes into effect from 10pm tonight and remains in place until 11pm on Monday night.
It also applies to counties Donegal, Sligo, Leitrim, Galway, Limerick, Kerry and Cork.
