Motorists around the country have been urged to drive with care as three weather warnings have been issued tonight by Met Eireann.
A StatusYellow weather warning is in place for western, southern and northwestern coastal areas and a Status Orange warning is in place for counties Mayo, Sligo, Galway, Clare, Kerry, Cork, Limerick and Donegal.

Heavy snow showers are also forecast for parts of Connacht, Ulster and Leinster, where a Status Yellow warning is in place.
