Counting's underway with Fianna Fáil's Seán O'Fearghail topping the poll.

Fine Gael's Andrew Doyle came second and Independent Maureen O'Sullivan third, with Sinn Féin's Caoimhghín O'Caoláin fourth and Fine Gael's Bernard Durkan fifth.

Two counts have now been completed with Deputy Durkan eliminated after the first count after polling the fewest votes – 21 out of 157 – Deputy Michael Lowry did not vote as he's attending a funeral.

After Deputy Durkan's transfers, Deputy Caoimhghín O'Caoláin was eliminated as he had the lowest votes.
