Fears have been expressed that Clare is being left behind when it comes to the roll-out of reliable braodband.
It comes as new details show that the banner county is among the country's ten worst areas in the country for broadband coverage with download speeds of only 10.8 megabits per second.

Connectivity emerged as one of the main issues affecting voters ahead of the General Election and Kilrush Independent Councillor Ian Lynch is urging the new Government to make the issue a prioirty in the coming months.
He says rural parts of the county are continuing to be forgotten about.
