The Court of Appeal has ruled a Norwegian man who regularly raped his girlfriend as she slept shouldn't have had his entire sentence suspended.
26 year old Magnus Meyer Hustveit was convicted last year and received a seven year sentence with all of it suspended.

He admitted in an email to his former girlfriend, that he had regularly raped her as she slept in their Dublin apartment between 2011 and 2012.
The suspended sentence has now been set aside and the three judges at the Court of Appeal are set to impose a new sentence this afternoon.
