Over a thousand cyclists are to descend on Clare for a new mass-participation cycling event this summer.
The 150km and 100km SKODA-sponsored Granfondo Hibernia cycling event starts and finishes in Ennis with the routes taking in the coastline along the Wild Atlantic Way and homeward along the Shannon Estuary.

It takes place this coming July 31st and is expected to attract participants from across Ireland and overseas.
Mark O'Connell, a Director of W2 Consultants who are helping to organise the event says it's a great opportunity to showcase the county.
