The Gardaí and the Aviation Authority are conducting separate investigations into a fatal plane crash in Longford yesterday.
A man in his 40s was killed when his single-seater aircraft came down at the Abbeyshrule Aerodrome, following an 'acrobatic stunt show'.

The tragedy comes almost a year after a helicopter crashed into the side of a pub near the same village.
