Doolin Man Lucky To Escape Brussels Blasts Speaks Out

A Doolin man who says he was lucky to escape this week's bomb blasts at Brussels Airport says he won't let the incident affect his life.

David Garrahy, who has been working in Brussels for eight years, was close to where the two bombs went off at Zaventem Airport on Tuesday morning – he escaped with a minor leg injury.

11 people were killed and dozens more were injured at the Airport, while 20 more died in a separate attack on the city's metro system.

And while security is now heightened in Brussels, David's told Clare FM that he won't let it change his life.
