Property Owners Asked To Open Their Doors To Fleadh Visitors

Property owners in the region are being asked to make accomodation available for this year's Fleadh Cheoil na hEireann.

With 400,000 visitors coming to Ennis in August and a variety of accommodation required to suit different needs, a call has gone out for rooms, not just in Co. Clare but also the bordering counties of Limerick, Tipperary, Galway, Kerry and further afield.

People interested in renting out a room during the Fleadh are asked to log on to the festival's website to register or contact the Fleadh office in Ennis.

Head of the Accommodation Sub Committee Brian O'Neill admits putting up so many visitors will be a big challenge, and they need the support of people in the area.
