Talks on government formation are to resume today.
Fine Gael and Fianna Fáil will continue talks with independents – the objective for each party is to have more votes than the other, when the next ballots for Taoiseach are held on Wednesday.

It follows yesterday's Millward Brown poll for the Sunday Independent which revealed that voters would prefer to see Micheál Martin as Taoiseach.
The findings also found that 70 per cent of us would NOT change how we voted if a second General election were called.
